Toyota Tacoma Parts

The Tacoma has a reputation for running forever, and in Canada that means plenty of high-kilometre trucks that see gravel roads, salt and the odd trail. Its front end shares a lot with the 4Runner, FJ Cruiser and Lexus GX, which is why those names show up in our titles. This page groups our Tacoma parts by generation and points out the big fitment splits: 4x2 vs 4x4, PreRunner and rotor size. Everything ships from our warehouse in Quebec, with free shipping across Canada on orders over $60.

Tacoma fitment: where people go wrong

  • 4x2, PreRunner or 4x4. The PreRunner looks like a 4x4 (it sits high) but is rear-wheel drive. Front CV axles and hub kits like KN7-100290 only fit true 4x4 trucks.
  • Front rotor size. Tacomas use more than one front rotor size depending on year, drive type and wheel size. Measure your rotor or match the trim and drive type in the fitment table.
  • Rear drums. Most Tacomas up to 2023 have rear drum brakes, so you'll want drums and shoes, not rotors, for the back.
  • Cab and bed length. Access Cab, Double Cab, short bed and long bed can change rear springs, shocks and brake lines. Pick your exact configuration in the vehicle search.
  • Lifted trucks. A lift kit can change which ball joints, CV axles and brake lines work. Stock-height fitment tables assume a stock truck.
  • Not sure? Your VIN settles it. Email it to us and we'll confirm before you order.

Working on a Tacoma

  • Upper ball joints. Worn front upper ball joints are a known Tacoma issue and a safety item. Check for play with the wheel off the ground. TOR-K80811 is the upper joint.
  • CV boots off road. Torn CV boots are common on 4x4 Tacomas that see trails. A complete axle (or an axle and hub kit) is often quicker than replacing a boot.
  • Frame rust. Older Tacomas are known for frame rust. Check the frame and brake lines whenever the truck is on a hoist.
  • Rear drum adjustment. After new rear shoes, set the drums using the parking brake so the pedal stays high.
  • Winter salt. Clean rust off the hub face so new rotors sit flat, lube the caliper pins, and torque everything to the values in your Tacoma service information. Get an alignment after front-end work.

Frequently asked questions

Is fitment guaranteed?

Each product page has a fitment table listing the years, trims, engines, drive type and position the part fits, and the vehicle search at the top of the site only shows parts listed for your truck. If we're wrong about fitment, we'll accept your return request or help you find the right part. Not sure? Email us your year, cab, drive type (4x2 or 4x4) and VIN before you order and we'll check. Returns for a part ordered for the wrong vehicle fall under our standard refund policy (restocking fee and return shipping apply).

How much is shipping and how long does it take?

Shipping is free within Canada on orders over $60 CAD. Orders under $60 ship for a flat $19.99. We process orders within 0–1 business days and ship from our warehouse in Quebec. Delivery usually takes 1–6 business days depending on where you are. Some remote areas may have an extra charge, and we'll contact you first if that applies.

Can I return a part?

Yes. You have 30 days from receipt to request a return. Parts must be unused, uninstalled and in the original packaging. A 15% restocking fee applies, and return shipping is your responsibility if the wrong part was ordered. See our refund policy.

Which brake kit fits my Tacoma?

For many 2005–2023 Tacomas, K8C-100586 (ceramic) and K8S-100568 (semi-metallic) are front rotor and pad kits. Semi-metallic pads suit trucks that tow or haul. Confirm your rotor size and drive type in the fitment table.

Do Tacoma parts fit the 4Runner or FJ Cruiser?

Many front-end parts do, especially on 4x4 trucks, which is why those names appear in our titles. Go by the years in each fitment table.
