Honda Civic Parts
The Civic is one of the most common cars on Canadian roads, from 90s hatchbacks still commuting through winter to brand-new 11th-generation sedans. Honda reuses a lot of parts across its lineup, but within a single Civic year the brakes and suspension can still change by trim, body style and engine. This page groups our Civic parts by generation and points out where those splits happen. Everything ships from our warehouse in Quebec, with free shipping across Canada on orders over $60.

2022–2025 Civic (11th generation)
Sedan and hatchback share most brake and suspension parts with the base 2.0L and 1.5L turbo. The Si and especially the Type R use larger brakes, so check the trim list in each fitment table.
2016–2021 Civic (10th generation)
2016 · 2017 · 2018 · 2019 · 2020 · 2021
This is our biggest Civic range. All trims got rear disc brakes, which makes brake kits simpler than on older cars, but Si and Type R still need their own front parts.
2012–2015 Civic (9th generation)
Many base and mid trims have rear drums, while some higher trims and the Si have rear discs. Look at your rear wheel before ordering rear parts.
2006–2011 Civic (8th generation, also the Acura CSX)
2006 · 2007 · 2008 · 2009 · 2010 · 2011
The Canadian-market Acura CSX is built on this Civic, so many of our kits list both.
2001–2005 Civic (7th generation)
2001 · 2002 · 2003 · 2004 · 2005
1987–2000 Civic
1987 · 1988 · 1989 · 1990 · 1991 · 1992 · 1993 · 1994 · 1995 · 1996 · 1997 · 1998 · 1999 · 2000
Driving a Civic del Sol? It has its own collections: 1994 · 1995 · 1996 · 1997.

Civic fitment: where people go wrong
- Si and Type R are different cars underneath. The Type R uses large multi-piston front brakes and its own suspension, and the Si often has bigger front rotors than the LX or EX. A part for a "Civic" only fits these trims when the fitment table names them.
- Drums or discs at the back (2006–2015). On the 8th and 9th generations, rear brakes depend on trim and sometimes engine. A rear drum like K8-101873 only fits cars that have drums. If you can see a caliper through the rear wheel, you have discs.
- Sedan, coupe and hatchback. Front brakes are usually shared, but rear struts and shocks can differ between body styles, especially on the 2017–2021 hatchback. Pick your body style in the vehicle search at the top of the site.
- Hybrid models. Civic Hybrids (older generations and the newer hybrid trims) can use different brake parts and rear suspension from gas cars. Only order for a Hybrid when it's listed.
- Not sure? Your VIN settles it. Email it to us and we'll confirm before you order.
Working on a Civic
- Rotor retaining screws. Hondas use small Phillips screws to hold the front rotors to the hub. They often seize. Use an impact driver rather than a regular screwdriver so you don't strip the head, and you don't need to reinstall them once the wheel holds the rotor.
- Electronic parking brake (2016+). Most 10th and 11th-generation Civics have an electric parking brake. Use the maintenance procedure or a scan tool to retract the rear pistons before installing new rear pads.
- Sway bar links and clunks. A knocking noise over small bumps on a Civic is very often a worn front sway bar link, which is a quick, cheap fix. Ball joints and tie rods are the next things to check.
- Complete struts save time. A complete strut and spring assembly (like K78M-100242) avoids compressing springs at home. Get an alignment after replacing struts or any steering part.
- Winter salt. Clean rust off the hub face so new rotors sit flat, and lube the caliper slide pins with silicone grease. Bed in new pads with several moderate stops, then torque everything to the values in your Civic service information.
Frequently asked questions
Is fitment guaranteed?
Each product page has a fitment table listing the years, trims, engines, drive type and position the part fits, and the vehicle search at the top of the site only shows parts listed for your vehicle. If we're wrong about fitment, we'll accept your return request or help you find the right part. Not sure? Email us your year, trim, body style and VIN before you order and we'll check. Returns for a part ordered for the wrong vehicle fall under our standard refund policy (restocking fee and return shipping apply).
How much is shipping and how long does it take?
Shipping is free within Canada on orders over $60 CAD. Orders under $60 ship for a flat $19.99. We process orders within 0–1 business days and ship from our warehouse in Quebec. Delivery usually takes 1–6 business days depending on where you are. Some remote areas may have an extra charge, and we'll contact you first if that applies.
Can I return a part?
Yes. You have 30 days from receipt to request a return. Parts must be unused, uninstalled and in the original packaging. A 15% restocking fee applies, and return shipping is your responsibility if the wrong part was ordered. See our refund policy.
Which brake kit fits my Civic?
For 2016–2021 non-Si, non-Type R cars, K8C-100372 is a front kit, K8C-101623 a rear kit (it also fits many 2022–2024 cars), and KTC-100470 a pads-only front + rear kit. For 2013–2015 cars with rear discs, K8A-102485 does both axles. Cars with rear drums use drums like K8-101873 instead.
Do Civic parts fit the Acura CSX or ILX?
Often, yes. The CSX is based on the 2006–2011 Civic and the ILX shares many parts with the 2012–2015 Civic, which is why those names appear in our titles. Always go by the years and trims in each fitment table.
