Ram 1500 Parts
If you drive a Ram 1500, the first thing to sort out is which Ram you actually have. Since 2019 there have been two different trucks sold under the same name, and their brakes and suspension don't swap. This page splits our Ram 1500 and Dodge Ram 1500 parts by generation so you land on the right ones, with brake kits, ball joints, CV axles and front-end parts shipped from our warehouse in Quebec and free shipping across Canada on orders over $60.

New Ram 1500 or Ram 1500 Classic?
When the redesigned Ram 1500 (often called the DT) came out for 2019, Ram kept building the previous truck alongside it as the Ram 1500 Classic. Mechanically the Classic is the 2009–2018 truck (the DS), so Classic owners should shop the same parts as a 2013–2018 Ram 1500.
- Look at the badge and the registration. Classic trucks are usually listed as "Ram 1500 Classic" on the ownership and the window sticker.
- Look at the styling. The Classic keeps the older body, with the cross-hair style grille on many trims and the older dash. The new truck has a sleeker body and a larger centre screen on most trims.
- Still not sure? Send us your VIN and we'll tell you which parts fit.

Fitment tips that save Ram owners a return
- 4x2 or 4x4 matters up front. Front hubs, CV axles and some control arms are different between two-wheel and four-wheel drive trucks. On older Dodge Rams, a 2WD truck often uses a one-piece rotor and hub (like K8C-102702), while 4x4s use a separate rotor. Check the drive type in each fitment table.
- 2012 is an odd year for brakes. Some of our front brake kits list the 2012 Ram 1500 together with Ram 2500/3500 models but not 2013–2018. If you have a 2012, measure your rotor or send us your VIN before ordering.
- Ram 1500 parts are not 2500/3500 parts. Many listings fit several Rams at once, so read the title and fitment table carefully. A heavy-duty part only fits a 1500 when the 1500 is listed.
- Air suspension trucks. Some 2013 and newer trucks have factory air suspension instead of coil springs. Shocks and struts for coil-spring trucks won't fit an air-suspension truck, so check before ordering suspension parts.
- Older trucks: check the track bar and ball joints first. On 1994–2002 4x4 trucks with a solid front axle, a worn front track bar or loose ball joints are common causes of wandering steering and the front-end shake owners call "death wobble". Have the front end inspected before throwing a steering box at it.
Brake tips for Ram 1500 trucks
- Trucks are heavy on brakes. If you tow, haul or drive a lot in the mountains, semi-metallic pads handle heat better. For mostly highway and city driving, ceramic pads are quieter and leave less dust on the wheels.
- Clean up rust at the hub. Road salt builds scale on the hub face, and a rotor that doesn't sit flat will cause a pulsing pedal soon after the job. Wire-brush the hub face and caliper brackets before fitting new rotors.
- Grease the slide pins. Clean and lube the caliper slide pins with silicone brake grease, and replace any torn boots. Seized pins are a common reason for one pad wearing out early.
- Bed in new brakes. Do several moderate stops from about 50 km/h, then a few firmer ones from about 80 km/h, without coming to a full stop while the brakes are hot. Then drive a few minutes to let them cool.
- Torque the caliper bracket bolts and wheel nuts to the values in your Ram's service information. Don't rely on an impact gun.
Frequently asked questions
Is fitment guaranteed?
Each product page has a fitment table listing the years, trims, engines, drive type and position the part fits, and the vehicle search at the top of the site only shows parts listed for your truck. If we're wrong about fitment, we'll accept your return request or help you find the right part. Not sure? Email us your year, cab, drive type (4x2 or 4x4) and VIN before you order and we'll check. Returns for a part ordered for the wrong vehicle fall under our standard refund policy (restocking fee and return shipping apply).
How much is shipping and how long does it take?
Shipping is free within Canada on orders over $60 CAD. Orders under $60 ship for a flat $19.99. We process orders within 0–1 business days and ship from our warehouse in Quebec. Delivery usually takes 1–6 business days depending on where you are. Some remote areas may have an extra charge, and we'll contact you first if that applies.
Can I return a part?
Yes. You have 30 days from receipt to request a return. Parts must be unused, uninstalled and in the original packaging. A 15% restocking fee applies, and return shipping is your responsibility if the wrong part was ordered. See our refund policy.
Which brake kit fits my Ram 1500?
For 2006–2018 trucks and the 2019–2023 Ram 1500 Classic, the K8C-101456 front + rear kit or the K8C-100606 front kit are good choices. For the 2019+ new-body Ram 1500, start with the 2019–2025 year links above. KDS-100887 is a rear kit for that truck. For 1994–1999 2WD trucks, see K8C-102702.
Do Dodge Ram 1500 and Ram 1500 parts interchange?
Within the same generation, often yes. A 2010 Dodge Ram 1500 and a 2011 Ram 1500 are the same truck, and many parts are listed for both. Across generations (for example 2018 vs 2019 new body), assume they don't interchange unless the fitment table says so.
