Hyundai Kona Parts

The Kona is Hyundai's small crossover, sold in Canada since 2018 with gas engines, as the Kona Electric, and as the sporty Kona N. It's a common sight in cities and a popular EV in Quebec and B.C. The three versions share a body but not all their parts, so this page groups our Kona parts by version and year and points out where they differ. Everything ships from our warehouse in Quebec, with free shipping across Canada on orders over $60.

Kona fitment: where people go wrong

  • Gas, Electric or N. The Kona Electric and Kona N have their own collections. Front rotors like KDC-100130 are listed for the Electric only, and the N has larger brakes than either. Choose the right version first.
  • FWD or AWD. AWD gas Konas use a different rear suspension from FWD ones. Rear shocks, arms and hubs can change, so check the drive type in each fitment table.
  • 2.0L vs 1.6L turbo. The turbo trims can use larger front brakes than the 2.0L. Match your engine before ordering front rotors.
  • Before and after the 2022 refresh. Some 2022–2023 brake parts differ from 2018–2021. Kit K8C-101134 is listed for 2022–2023 only.
  • Calipers are sold by side. SLC-SCB5183 is the rear left and SLC-SCB5184 the rear right. Replace both if one is seized.
  • Not sure? Your VIN settles it. Email it to us and we'll confirm before you order.

Working on a Kona

  • Electric parking brake. Most Konas have an electric parking brake. Use the service procedure or a scan tool to retract the rear pistons before installing new rear pads.
  • EV brakes rust before they wear. The Kona Electric uses regenerative braking, so its rotors get little use and rust in salty weather. Use the brakes firmly now and then, and inspect rotors for rust pitting rather than just pad thickness.
  • Rear brakes and sticking calipers. Rear pads and calipers are among our most-ordered Kona parts. A rear wheel that's hotter than the others after a drive points to a sticking caliper.
  • Front ball joints. A clunk from the front over bumps can be a worn lower ball joint. K72-101473 is a pair and fits gas Konas and the Kona N.
  • Filters are easy. The engine air filter (57-WA10420 on gas Konas) is a five-minute job with no tools.

Frequently asked questions

Is fitment guaranteed?

Each product page has a fitment table listing the years, trims, engines, drive type and position the part fits, and the vehicle search at the top of the site only shows parts listed for your vehicle. If we're wrong about fitment, we'll accept your return request or help you find the right part. Not sure? Email us your year, version (gas, Electric or N), FWD or AWD and VIN before you order and we'll check. Returns for a part ordered for the wrong vehicle fall under our standard refund policy (restocking fee and return shipping apply).

How much is shipping and how long does it take?

Shipping is free within Canada on orders over $60 CAD. Orders under $60 ship for a flat $19.99. We process orders within 0–1 business days and ship from our warehouse in Quebec. Delivery usually takes 1–6 business days depending on where you are. Some remote areas may have an extra charge, and we'll contact you first if that applies.

Can I return a part?

Yes. You have 30 days from receipt to request a return. Parts must be unused, uninstalled and in the original packaging. A 15% restocking fee applies, and return shipping is your responsibility if the wrong part was ordered. See our refund policy.

Which brake kit fits my Kona?

For 2018–2023 gas Konas, K8C-103052 is a rear rotor and pad kit and TEC-2188 a rear pad set. For 2022–2023 Konas, K8C-101134 covers front and rear. For the 2019–2023 Kona Electric, KDC-100130 is a front kit. Always confirm in the fitment table.

Do Kona parts fit the Kia Seltos or Soul?

Some do. The Kona shares a few brake and suspension parts with the Seltos, Soul, Forte and Elantra, which is why those names appear in our titles. Go by the years and trims in each fitment table.
